Re: Panel question

Hi, What do you mean by 'directly clickable' ? if you mean - will they 'work' as in 'will they do something in the sim' ? well, the answer is almost always yes. There are really only a few reasons they they would not be 'directly clickable' is I am understanding what you refer to .. No datarefs or c...

Re: HPG Airbus H145 Main Panel with Helionix MFDs

I highly recommend that if you're both working on the same aircraft that you get together and combine your efforts. You can make much faster progress that way, and you each may have particular skills that may be the other person's weakness. Or at the very least, coordinate so that you both can work...

Re: Instruments Refreshing

It would help if you gave more details - for example - what is an 'fbw overhead ?
I presume an overhead panel for something - what something ? from where ?
What simulator or game ?
What version of AM and plugin ?
What OS ?

Re: RPi 400?

why not just buy a small used WINDOWS PC ?
You can do anything you want with air manager then.
You should get a nice unit for about 50 to 75 euros.
you can get USB / HDMI converters for about 8 euros - as well as the two on board graphics ports they usually have.

Re: Loupedeck integration

It's keyboard macro record. 20 year old technology ;)
I can't really see how it would be of any use at all with AM.
Even the encoders are simple key press combos. Again, not of any use with AM.
It might offer some input to the sim via key press actions but it would be limited.

Re: Knobster works in reverse

Change the encoder A B connections around - that will reverse the direction

Re: is there a way to save a text or csv file from AM ?

Here is a part of the setup for 'sismo' hardware you can see a similar thing in operation. Simplicity for the user, but we can also have all these nice features with AM, and a hell of a lot cheaper, and better with more options and more flexibility ;) - we just have to do a bit of DIY . sismo ...

Re: is there a way to save a text or csv file from AM ?

Wow Joe, That last post grew as the day got longer.😂 I get the path you are exploring. For me, I do not understand why AM has to use arduino library and load them taking up memory. Simply loading a .json pointing to a chip make and configuration could save memory and provide ease of adding many chi...

Re: is there a way to save a text or csv file from AM ?

Hi Keith, the 1s and 0s are simply states, on and off of the led segments. The 7219 operates in two modes, the first is BCD (standard binary code decimal) - called 'DECODE MODE' where you set four bits of an appropriate register to the number you require - 0 - 9 - in binary - and it will 'decode' an...
