Re: Course Deviation line in 'dots'

Great! Really comforting to know that Tony has actually come to a solution. This simple fact actually solves the whole issue and the problem of the OP, as usual. For my part, I am pleased to announce that I solved the problem of hunger in the whole world, and the end of all wars at the same time, a...

Re: Gazelle

Hi Hugh. A dual PSU is REALLY nice, but a single will ABSOLUTELY do. There are plenty around. If possible, don't go above 30V 3A (5A max) - there are so called '10A units' out there, but the regulation and ripple will , unless you pay a lot of money, be totally shite and totally not needed. Also if ...

Re: Rotary encoders and other with Raspberry Pi and Arduino Mega

Joe, that helps a lot, thank you! I see you are a fan of the Pico already! Regarding the USB hub: I don't mean one inside a PC, but inside my overhead panel, so that I have just one USB cable going to the PC. Regarding a BOOTSEL button. As you say that, it does sound easy enough. I am thinking abou...

Re: Gazelle

Good morning Hugh, One of the things you are going to need for this project is a suitable bench PSU for testing. Ideally, it needs to be fully adjustable from 1 to 30V DC, AND fully current limiting (adjustable) - probably up to 3A would be fine. It MUST be adjustable current limiting. You will need...

Raspberry PICO - incorrect details on Hardware id list.

Corjan Ralph Hi guys, wasn't sure exactly where to put this - so it ended up here ;) Ok, can you please look into the details on the Hardware ID list for the PICO ?. You list GPIOs 23 24 and 25 as available. This is incorrect. GPIO23 is used internally as a control for the power converter control (...

Re: Rotary encoders and other with Raspberry Pi and Arduino Mega

Hi, sorry for having many questions now, maybe somebody can reply. I did some more thinking (and I forgot the push functions of the rotaries). I have 99 wires (say IO ports) in total now, that I want to use in Airmanager instruments. Included are 2 single rotary encoders and 5 dual rotary encoders....

Re: Gazelle

HI Hugh, the drive / slip cup description looks correct.. I will do some further digging on that - again, can you confirm the wiring to the two drive units marked 28V please ? there may be a way of sorting that one out. The main thing would be to control the RPM, If it is semi synchronous then as it...
