Re: Will this kill air manager?
I've had Air Manager 3.x for some time now. I learned a lot and I thank everyone on the team and the forum staff for their help, whenever I needed it. I'll buy version 4, for sure. I can make instruments and use the interface with arduino. To build a homemade cockpit I need it, and it depends on th...

Re: Will this kill air manager?
actually, with the pop-out screen and AMs arduino capabilities, it's really easy to have an entire cockpit running from one program...and being cross platform for X-Plane, FSX, P3D and now FS2020, all the major platforms for cockpit builders are covered and moving your pit from one platform to anoth...

Select cloned gauge after creation
When you clone a gauge, it should automatically be selected for editing instead of leaving you on the original gauge that you cloned from. Too many times when starting out, I'd clone the gauge, modify the files, then just as I was about to run the gauge for testing, see the line that says "this...

Re: Air Manager 4.0
Thanks for your reply. The bridge service is indeed running, firewalls are off and airmanager 4 beta is running on the same machine as fs2020. Airmanager says connected to FS2020 just like if your screenshot. No instruments move though, and test panel nothing moves as well. make sure you have updat...

Re: Air Manager 4.0
check to see that your FS2020BridgeService is running in the task manager if it is (which is good), turn it off by right clicking on it then click STOP...wait 60sec or longer then START it again...if you do this too fast, it tends to not be effective image.png Once you have that, check to see if you...

Re: AM 4.0 b11 - connection via network not possible
add an exception rule on the pc limiting the connection to either FS2020BridgeService.exe on the FS PC or javaw.exe on the AirManager PC
based on your response. the FS2020BridgeService.exe needs the exception added
located in %programfiles(x86)%\FS2020BridgeService\ if you need to navigate to it

FSX/MSFS Strings?
Having issues getting strings working in MSFS and I believe in FSX (but have since uninstalled it on my system)...lately I can get some to work, like the aircraft atc ID and NAV NAME:1/:2, but I cannot figure out how to get the NAV IDENT:1/:2 working...I have a station tuned and am receiving the ILS...

AM 4.0 b11 Bridge intermittent collapse
While running AirManager 4.0 B11 (saw since B8 as well) with the Bridge Service running, AM will connect and work just fine for the gauges. I updated the Baron switch panel to work with FS2020 by adding the relevant events and if you click the switches too quickly, the Bridge dies. If you stop the s...

Re: persist_add in library lua
i suppose I could, but all you have to do is create a file in the library folder and call persist_add inside it instead of logic.lua and you'll see what I mean...it's not pink formatted like usually In logic.lua, special functions like var_cap, var_round, persist_put, parsist_add, persist_get and ma...
