Re: Cabri G2 EPM

Hi Jean I’m glad you like it. I’ve been meaning to get around to working on some of the bugs but I just haven’t had the time yet. I want to add support for fs2020 but my day job is getting in the way of doing fun stuff like this. Feel free to download it and make any changes you want to improve it a...

Re: Raspberry PI disconnect

Hi Azlan
What panel have you got connected to the pi and what resolution is it? Have you deployed a panel to it yet?
From what the error message you are getting i'm guessing its having trouble with a panel size.

Re: Gazelle

Hi Joe
I sent you a pm. The pics you wanted and a link to a bench psu that looks about right. They are sat in the outbox so not sure if they have arrived.

Re: Gazelle

Hi Joe
Very good idea. I’ve been meaning to get a bench psu for a while. I will have a peek and see what I can dig up that will be suitable and within budget.

I’ve taken some pics of the AHI for you but I need to re scale then as there are size limits on the forum posts and pm’s

Re: Gazelle

Hi Jacques I'vve made my own AM instruments before and well versed with finding the right datarefs etc. With this i want to at least try to either drive the original instruments or modify them so that i can keep them but use easier methods to drive them properly. I'm at the investigation stage at th...

Re: Gazelle

Hi Joe Focusing on the RPM guage i think its based on a synchro motor arrangement using an alternator at one end. I found this which looking at the gauge end looks about right https://www.aircraftsystemstech.com/2017/05/mechanical-movement-indicators.html rotor.jpg If you look at the middle section ...

Re: Gazelle

So i had a bit of time today so i pulled a couple of the instruments to have a look inside. They are beautifully engineered and a joy to behold. Here is the inside of the AHI image0.jpeg and this is the inside of the rotor RPM gauge. It has two motors and what looks like a magnetic drag cup clutch. ...
